Hurricane Matthew: Entrepreneurs du Monde takes action in Haiti

Last October, Hurricane Matthew devastated the South of the country, where Entrepreneurs du Monde was not operating at that time. Two Haitian organizations set up by Entrepreneurs du Monde have been selected to meet the needs of a group of French NGOs that will rehabilitate some sixty schools and school canteens.

Here are the 2 focuses of their input :

ATPROCOM, the association of artisans we have trained in the construction of earthquake- and cyclone-resistant buildings, will train Haitian carpenters and builders chosen by the NGO partners. It will also provide quality control while the work is in progress.

PALMIS Enèji, our social enterprise for access to energy, will re-equip school canteens with gas stoves.
